Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker in the US is an American artist known for his unique musical style. Popular for his rapid fire lyrical flow, which is also what gave him the stage name Machine Gun Kelly, MGK started rapping while still at high school. He quickly earned a huge local fan base by releasing a number of mixtapes. The debut album he made was his Seal of Approval Mixtape, which was made available in the year 2006. His first mixtape had a tremendous success and it gave him the courage to embark on a new career in music. As time passed, he released four other mixtapes. The career of the artist exploded in 2011 after signing a contract with Bad Boy, and Interscope Records. The following year his debut lacing up album was released. It received a positive reception from the media. Albums such as Wild Boy, Invincible and Stereo were popular hits that were released on the US Billboard 200.
