Megan Gale

Gale was a winner of a modeling competition in Perth aged 18. After several years of modelling, Gale rose to fame after being selected in 1999 for a role in a set of adverts for an Italian telecommunications company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) She was part of the company's advertising until 2006.She was also commissioned with the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to represent Australia and Italy'. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she was featured in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale has been a model for Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere, Genny And Gai Mattiolo as well as on the runways of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of a variety of Australian fashion designers, including Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Gale was also one of the fashion experts for the Logies which is an Australian TV award. Gale made it clear in the month of January her decision to retire from modeling on runways after fifteen successful years. Just a few weeks later when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. In her final appearance she wore Wonderwoman's costume in the Justice League of America movie that never came out. Gale ended Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March of 2011.
